As well as my experience in recording music I have been producing my own electronic work for more than 10 years. I have tracks released under various aliases on several different labels, and have produced music for adverts, installations and live events. I have an extensive catalogue of work I have produced as a remix artist as well as original productions in genres ranging through techno, house, jungle, drum and bass, electronica, chillout, downbeat, breakbeat and trance. In the last few years I have been building a portfolio of work as a remix artist, which can be heard at www.soundcloud.com/maraud. I particularly enjoy remix work as it gives me the chance to blend my work as an engineer of live material with electronic production skills, as well as making use of interesting audio editing and post production techniques. I work hard to produce remixes which fit with the feel and mood of the original recording, and to date all of my remixes have been very well received by the original recording artists.
