Sound engineer for hire in the London area

Working as a freelance sound engineer means I have to be confident in many different areas of expertise - one day I might be in a recording studio in the London area, the next at a live event, working at sound reinforcement at a conference or gig in Nottingham. Several years of freelancing has given me the excellent people skills, adaptability and the strong work ethic that this field demands. I’m used to dealing with clients and members of the public from all walks of life - professionals, corporate bodies and individuals all have differing needs and specifications when it comes to audio production and sound engineering.

Working as a freelancer has given me an unusually wide range of experiences across a broad spectrum of roles right across the board, and it’s surprising how often I can draw on this to provide a better service - I never know when an experience I had working as a live sound engineer might help me to solve a problem I encounter as a sound assistant, or a routing trick I developed working in the studio proved to be just the job for a clever twist in a post production project.
